Developing the WNL ICB Public Involvement Framework (2027–2030)
Help shape our approach
NHS West and North London Integrated Care Board (ICB) is developing a new Public Involvement Framework for 2027–2030. The framework will set out how we work with residents, patients, carers, community groups and partner organisations to shape health and care services across west and north London.
We want to make it easier for people and communities to share their views, experiences and ideas so we can improve services, reduce inequalities and provide better care. Since May 2026, we have been speaking with people and communities across west and north London about what good involvement looks like and how we can improve the way we work together.
So far:
More than 1,000 residents have shared their views.
More than 3,300 people have been reached via information shared through community networks and online communications.
More than 270 voluntary, community, faith and resident organisations have taken part.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. Based on what people have told us, we have developed five draft principles to guide how we involve people and communities in decisions about health and care. Before we finalise these principles, we would like your feedback.
We'd like to hear:
Your reflections on the draft principles
Whether anything is missing
What you think we will need to do differently to put these principles into practice
The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. The survey closes at midnight on 1st November 2026. Your feedback will help us further develop our Public Involvement Framework which will be published in 2027.
If you would like a paper copy or support to complete the survey, please contact: wnlicb.publicinvolvement@nhs.net
